We live
in the south west of France, in the middle of the countryside in the
Gers region.
We
are going to show you how live the dogs in middle of humans, the
meadows, the horses, the cats…
First
of all we’ve got dogs for the pleasure to be surrounded by them; so
they live with us in ourhouse…or us in their?? …Sometimes we seriously
wonder and this can really make us laugh!

In spite of everything we’ve got a pen, because we can’t always take
the dogs everywhere with us, and we don’t want
necessarily to leave them alone in the house! The pen is 600 m² and has
a wire
fence 1m80 high with a little wooden garden’s house of 10m²used as a
shelter by the
Danes. There is a lot of toys and in the summer a sun umbrella and a
children pool. We’ve took care to embellish
the pen with various plants, so the atmosphere is more one of a garden
than
a kennel… but all this need time to grow a bit more….patience!

horses share our live, and we are very lucky to live in the middle of
our fields, in 15 ha of quiet coutryside. The dogs are used to live
around horses; they respect them and don’t take much notice of them…
They are part of the landscape. We’ve got 3 cats, a rabbit and a guinea
pig too, with whom the dogs live in harmony…yes, even Kokaï, the small
Fox-Terrier! Well, the rabbit and the guinea pig are in a cage
nevertheless, as we would never leave them free alone with the dogs or
even the cats!
