Our Great Danes

Cinnamon du Domaine des Lisières Bélouga on der Evenburg Berlioze von der Evenburg

We are going to introduce you our Great Danes in few words and photos. For more details and information about them, go to their individual pages by clicking on the name!
Cinnamon* du Domaine des Lisières

Her real name is Chipie, but we didn’t like it at all…hush!
cinnamon_plage Cinnamon is our first Great Dane. Her coat can surprise many, but she is harlequin! Never mind her coat; it is most of all an adorable bitch with a golden temperament, patient, obedient, gentle…sometimes a bit shy this is her only shortcoming, if you can call it that!
Cinnamon... it’s her that gave us this passion for Great Danes and the desire to have another one…and why not two! She had accepted Bélouga and Berlioze as her own pups! She always had a lot of patience with them, she separated them when they squabbled a bit too much, she watched over them and helped us a lot in their training.
Bélouga von der Evenburg
belouga
Bélouga is a bitch we got from Germany; for a while I had been keeping an eye on the bitches mated by Dragonheart vom Polarstern, a dane perfect to my eyes, and when I learned he had mated Agrippina vom Greetsieler Tief, who I liked very much, I waited with great anticipation the first two months of gestation to reserve at last Bélouga

….and…
Berlioze von der Evenburg
berlioze_mare …Berlioze !!! Bélouga’s sister! Eh yes…. As we couldn’t agree on our choice within the litter from the “Evenburg”…. One preferred Béloug’, the other Berlioze…
What to do? We took both!! And if we were to do it again, we would make the same choice without any hesitation: it’s so enjoyable to watch two pups growing and developing together…
and it’s so nice for the pups as well! We are always surprised to see how two pups from the same litter, brought up the same way, can grow up at every level so differently!
Kokaï kokaï But yes!! Of course, I know as you do, that Kokaï is not a Dane!
But trying to make her understand….she doesn’t want to know: in her stubborn head of Fox-Terrier, a dog is before all a dog….so she has her place here too!
